Conran Joseph at Ghent University in Belgium

Dr Conran Joseph received a University Capacity Development Grant to visit Ghent University at the end of March. The purpose of his visit was to receive training on neuro-cognitive modalities, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and electroencephalography (EEG). He will be using these modalities to expand his area of research to include a focus on neuroscience, which could be useful to quantify the effects of exercise training on neuroplasticity.

If you’re interested in the neuroscience of rehabilitation and would like to pursue postgraduate studies at UWC, contact Dr Joseph at cjoseph@uwc.ac.za.
