In the picture, the grass is not thriving, though it’s not dead either. All of the elements needed for the grass to thrive are present (sunlight, soil, sand, water) but they aren’t in the best conditions for what the grass needs to make the grass thrive.
Similarly, in the South African health system, patients are just like the grass. They do not display or have the best health, even though all of the elements/health personnel from various departments required for the patient to reach optimal health are present. These professionals’/health departments do not all function at optimal level in order to help the patient reach perfect level of health, these departments just function in such a way to prevent the patients from dying and being very ill. The reason for this is because of the large amount of patients compared to the small amount of health professionals (Brand South Africa reporter, 2012)

I really like how you use the metaphor to compare the patients with the grass – a creative solution to the task and it makes the photo fits the text.
You share your point and reflection in a good way. You show that you have a critical view on the health department, and that made me think deeper about how it is in Norway. Also here, the health professionals do not reach out to the large amount of pasients, to give them what they need.
Your writing is good and the text is easy to understand! Because you use a reference to provide evidence to your statements, it strengthens your text.
The text is a bit short. The theme is very interesting, so I would like to read more about it. Maybe you can find some examples or statistics and add it to the text? Or say something about what needs to be done to improve the situation?
Good work so far!
