Visited the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim regarding a recently developed research proposal between NTNU, SINTEF, India and South Africa (UWC) regarding a postgraduate module. It also included meetings set up by Prof Marianne Hedlund from NTNU to explore possibilities for further collaboration with colleagues from different departments.
Prof Arne Eide from SINTEF also coordinated the meeting at Oslo Metropolitan University, Oslo, with colleagues from Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Biotechnology (Pharmacy) and coordinators from their International Office.
Lastly, we had meetings in Trondheim and Oslo with colleagues from SINTEF, one of Europe’s largest independent multidisciplinary research organizations with expertise in technology, natural sciences, medicine and social sciences. SINTEF is in partnership with NTNU. Collaboration opportunities were also explored, especially in their niche fields of Health and Welfare, Society, and Digitalization.
