Introduction: Michael Rowe (UWC)

My name is Michael and I’m a lecturer in the Department of Physiotherapy at UWC, where I teach the Professional Ethics module in the undergraduate programme.

I’m the Editor of the OpenPhysio journal, a new open-access, peer-reviewed journal with an emphasis on physiotherapy education, and also the co-founder of the In Beta podcast, which I host with Ben Ellis from Oxford Brookes University in the UK. Ben and I both have an interest in internationalising physiotherapy education and are relatively active on social media, which we use to share our ideas on changing practice in teaching and learning.

When I’m not being a lecturer I enjoy riding in the mountains and walking in Tokai forest with my wife and 2 little girls.

Oh, and I love binge watching Game of Thrones.
