Professor Julie Phillips spent several months in Sweden over 3 visits as part of a series of research visits linked to her project on the adaptation and validation of the Reason for Change (SA-R4C) instrument among physiotherapy students in the Western Cape. In addition, Prof. Phillips held meetings with potential students from Uppsala University who would like to come to SA for 2-month exchange visits in 2019.
The annual SAAHE conference is an important event in South African health professions education (HPE), and this years meeting was held in July in Durban. The conference was attended by several staff member from Physiotherapy, who all presented the results of their research in HPE.
